Setting readonly on props

Currently the only place to set readonly on a resource property is in the
AbstractResource...Since we do not want people to modify the AbstractResource
we should try to figure out how to aloow users to modify after that..say in the
Resource.init....
possibly make the metadata NOT immutable so they can change it when they
retrieve the rp in the Resource.init
