Sorry, folks: have no idea how that happened. But while I'm at it, my
sincere thanks to all who responded to my earlier query regarding apple
splitting. No definite answers, per se, but many thoughtful,
intelligent offerings from all over the globe. I'm impressed, and
heartened.
