Thanks. I had heard mention of this as a possible factor in Colony Collapse Disorder - and it seems plausible since contaminated pollen can be stored for a long time.

A lot of beekeepers are blaming neo-nics, while the manufacturers stoutly claim it's not so. Whatever the case, farmers should be aware that some beekeepers are refusing to place bees on pollination where neo-nics are used.

-All good reason to keep in open conversation with your beekeeper(s).
