The best description is name recognition.. Pepsi, coke, Frito-Lay and others are bombarding us with commercials so they can succeed in imprinting their brand in our brains.. SAMS Club is using taste testing to do the same.. you can send flyers with pictures of the apples or for each week feature a variety where you set up a nice display, have some caramel apples made from the same variety, have some taste testing (pay attention to food safety), Have customers take one fruit home, or anything else that teaches the customer about the variety.. It is a lot of work, but that's how the big companies do it.. Mosbah
