Steven....well in 1984 I was a captain in the Army at Ft Bragg...my first
computer was a Heathkit H8 which I built from a kit in 1978 or so. It had a
whopping 16K of RAM into which you loaded a 12K Basic from cassette tape.
You booted it up by entering split-octal commands into the front panel; the
display was also a kit that gave you 12 lines of 80 characters each, text
only. I was ecstatic when I got the original Apple II....my, how far we've
come...especially when I use my better half's G4 with dual 1.25GHz G4 CPUs
and a LCD display.

Heck, I've got my own computer museum here with the Apple II, IIe, two 512K
Macs, one of which started out as a 128K and was one of the very first sold
on the east coast, a Classic II, two iMacs and the G4.

Now I feel real old...better go relax. ;-)
