I suggest you just do it on your apple 2.
On AW 5.1 I simply run the regular spellchecker. From there it works as expected. If you highlight a section spellcheck simply works on that part.
I have never used Quickspell+, sorry.
Is this just for fun or has your Apple 2 died?
