I would recommend buying this Mac LC III, providing its a fair price. You can buy a IIe card, with y-cable (to attach the 5.25" drives). This card only works in the LC family, it completely emulates your Mac into a IIe. You will have an actuall IIe (in a Mac), and not a emulator, your original disks will work in this computer.
I do use mine from time to time (I need to replace the battery) It's a small piza shaped box machine, I share my keyboard ad mouse through a switch box. You get the best of both worlds with this computer, and it takes a lot less space. If 80mb isn't enough space, you can always network the Macs together. Steven > store they had a Stylewriter II without a price on it, so they wouldn't have sold it anyway, and then they had a Mac LC III with 80 meg > hard drive plus some V-Ram but no memory stick. > -- Apple2list is sponsored by <http://lowendmac.com/> and... / Buy books, CDs, videos, and more from Amazon.com \ / <http://www.amazon.com/exec/obidos/redirect-home/lowendmac> \ Support Low End Mac <http://lowendmac.com/lists/support.html> Apple2list info: <http://lowendmac.com/lists/apple2.html> --> AOL users, remove "mailto:" Send list messages to: <mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED]> To unsubscribe, email: <mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED]> For digest mode, email: <mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED]> Subscription questions: <mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED]> Archive: <http://www.mail-archive.com/apple2list%40mail.maclaunch.com/> Using a Mac?
