you can use use a Deja ][ emulator (which is the AppleWorks 5.0), and run
Appleworks on your Mac.

Or, if the files on the disk are in ASCII, you can retrieve them through any
of today's word processors (there is a AppleWorks for the Mac, which is NOT
the same program we used on the IIe).
