Have you considered a RAMFast SCSI card instead?  (I think that's the
correct name)  They're reportedly better than the Apple HS SCSI card and
they may be more available.  I haven't used either one, I'm just suggesting
an alternative in case you don't have to go with the Apple card for some
compatibility reason.
