don't count on it, sadly the capacitors age and fail even in storage, though more 
slowly. 
while most will work initially, you'll likely find that many do not last long after
several decades of storage.  of course other things like cracked solder joints also 
creep
in during storage, particularly if moved about or if the temperature varies.  chips and
transistors can fail as well.  none the less, i must admit to hoarding power supplies
myself, they are worth keeping for some time at least, and worst case the fans are 
usually
still good.  besides, they don't do any good at all in the landfill (well, until we 
start
mining land fills, which i fully expect to see in my lifetime).
