You will need a parallel card or a serial printer for printing.
Something which is PostScript and HP compatible is ideal.  HP
printers can handle plain text, which you would need for 8-bit
programs, and I'm fairly certain that GS/OS programs can handle
PostScript.

There are two routes to getting online: one is using TCP/IP (this
is how your Windows PC or Macintosh would do it), and the other is
to use a "shell account."  IMHO, TCP/IP programs are slow on the
IIgs, but shell accounts are hard to come by these days (and you
need a basic knowledge of Unix).
