All, This is really more of a feeler than anything else.
I have two 8-bit Apple //e's, one from my childhood, and a spare of a more recent vintage (platinum, numeric keypad, etc.) I have a huge library of 8-bit software, and just a smattering of 16-bit software collected over the years.
I haven't turned either on for a couple of years, but feel the need to get back into things, and am going to start working on one of them.
It seems as though working with a GS makes more sense, however, if only for the color screen, detachable keyboard, and easier RAM expansion options. I just don't have one.
So, if there happened to be a spare working GS (with color monitor and at least one 3.5" drive) someone wanted to get rid of cheaply (or free - I'll pick up) in SoCal, I'd be interested.
Alternatively, I have quite a few Pentium 2 and Pentium 3 based PCs here that I'd be willing to trade for a working and (mostly) complete GS system.
I know this is a shot in the dark, but I thought I should at least ask.
