KEGS is my prefered emulator, but it does tend to be more difficult
to use.  Some people may not like that.

If you're running it on modern hardware, does it really matter?
Any way you look at it, it should be many times faster than the
original hardware.  Which isn't bad seeming as most Apple II software
was designed to run on a 1 MHz through 3 MHz processor.
