Hi Andreas I'm currently traveling so I haven't been able to test the latest linux install. I had it working most recently on debian running sbcl, so you could try a different lisp implementation just to see if you get further, or more information.
It's quite tricky to set up an install that works across linux smoothly and it seems we're not quite there yet.
