It also crashes in my system every time, for a few years.
That could be highly state dependent (especially if it isn't aptitude
but libapt failing here) so I wanted to chirp in before this state is
"lost" to an update/upgrade or something.
Maybe make a backup of /var/lib/apt/ and /var/lib/dpkg/status somewhere,
in case we find out the relevant state is dependent on those.
Maybe it is still good to do as David asks, just in case.
No such bug found on my cubietruck.
btw: Is cubietruck 'armhf' or 'armel'?
I think that all of the new-ish ARM stuff works with armhf, armel is from
Dreamplug and devices of older generations.
