Habe das gerade noch mal getestet: Der aktuelle Tarball laesst sich bei mir
unter MinGW einwandfrei kompilieren (libtool 1.5.20 Debian 1.5.20-2).
Ja, daran hat's gelegen. Das aktuellste binary-libtool von gnuwin32 war
libtool-1.5.8 und damit gings nicht; nun hab ich halt
zähneknischenderweise selber ein originales libtool-1.5.20 aus dem
tarball compiliert und installiert. Voila, damit ging es dann auch aus
dem CVS. Also alles in Ordnung --- naja, fast. "make setup" scheitert
nun mit so genialen Fehlermeldungen wie
/bin/sh ../../../libtool --mode=install /bin/install -c csv.la
/c/work/simth-win/gwenhywfar-cvs/distribution/win32-tmp/lib/gwenhywfar/plugins/37/dbio/csv.la
libtool: install: error: cannot install `csv.la' to a directory not
ending in /usr/lib/gwenhywfar/plugins/37/dbio
make[5]: *** [install-dbiopluginLTLIBRARIES] Error 1

Aaaarg. Da hat libtool wohl einen an der Waffel, die
DISTDIR-Installation eiskalt abzulehnen. Die haben doch wirklich zu heiß
gebadet. Naja, ich werd schon noch irgendeinen workaround finden :-)
