Hi Martin, I've started to collect notes on the work that needs to be done in gnucash in order to port it to aqbanking3. You've already supplied some answers to me earlier this year; links to those message are on http://wiki.gnucash.org/wiki/AqBanking3_Porting and I've summarized the tasks that I know of on that page.
Just some short clarification questions: * What happened to AB_Banking_ActivateAllProviders() ? You said the "activate backend" is probably not needed anymore in aqbanking3; is this true? Which would mean this function call can simply go away. * Also, GWEN_XML_Parse seems to have gone away. Currently this is used for the separation of the HTML part from the non-HTML part in the GUI messages. I copied the code that used GWEN_XML_Parse from, err, qbanking, a long time ago. Do you suggest some other ready-made function for that job (=extraction of non-HTML part of the messages) by now? * Also, AB_Job_CheckAvailability seems to have gone away. How should gnucash now check whether a particular job (like Lastschrift) is available before executing it?
