I had a similiar problem, when I linked curlftpfs against gnutls. Switching it back to openssl fixed that. Currently curlftpfs also works with gnutls again. But the error shown above is the same, as I had to suffer from. I'm not sure whether this error shouldn't even reach the application or whether it should be handled on the ssl-library level, but currently this makes libgwenhywfar unusable.
