Probably yes... it depends on the sum.

KDE has comparable engine (Konqueror), and GNOME HTML widget is also not
completely hopeless... I would like to see Arachne on desktop, but it is
too much work, and I am not sure if it is possible. Netscape 4.7x is in
fact pretty fast, stable and usable, even on Linux - at leat compared to
eg. Mozilla, but even compared to Arachne, if you have enough memory for
running Netscape. Arachne was designed for sub-PC devices - palmtops, cell
phones, webpads....
