This is NOT recommended at all! As root this could be extremly
dangerous!

My mouse moves also very slow. And svgalib is configured correctly,
the mouse works well with all other apps (like zgv).

Well, if you really want to make configuring wizard for svgalib or ppp
or anything else, 1) it should ask 'Now I will change the configuration
file <sg>! Are you absolutely sure?'
2) It should backup the config-file.
3) And last but not least: this behaviour should be forbiddable!

I have configured ppp, svgalib etc. and on my PC arachne _must_not_
change anything except its own config files. I use vi for configuration
and I do not need any program that changes the config files of other
programs!
