You *know* what I want to use 'pppd.cfg' for, don't you?
Think about it - what is the *only* change I have asked
for with 'epppd' ... ? ;-)

While I need to control the FIFO settings (for *normal*
operation!), others might have other needs too (how can
you or I know what these needs may be, right?). So,
how can anyone specify any such options otherwise?

IF it's not going to be possible to specify any options,
would everyone be happy to use a 1 byte FIFO trigger
level as standard with this new version of 'epppd'? Has
anyone tried this for themselves yet, to see if they
like the comm's performance? (Just shell to DOS
when connected and type "comtool 1 ^f1^" for COM1,
"comtool 2 ^f1^" for COM2, etc.)

Regards,
Joe.
