Have any of you experience with this latest, cross-platform Allegro ?
It would be nice to use it to port Arachne to Windows and BeOS...

I am planning to release my own portability-enabling portions of Arachne
as kind of library, or so - 16 bit DOS graphics will be handled by
LOPIF, 32bit DOS or Windows graphics can maybe use Allegro ?

I am looking for name for my portability toolkit, which will be LGPL,
open source, and everyone will be able join development via CVS, like
in case of any normal open source project.

As Linux portability layer is called "linglue", I am thinking about
calling it "Glue", "Arachne glue", "NetGlue", or whatever. Simply tool,
which should simplify programmer's work a lot..
