> Your description of Arachne's behavior upon accessing this web page has
popularly been called "going to sleep" by list members. We have been
discussing this kind of thing at least since version 1.20 when I hopped
aboard. I do not recall anyone's bringing up the topic in recent posts.

I remember Arachne apparently going to sleep on me, page was an environment news
link from http://ens.lycos.com, believe it was
http://ens.lycos.com/ens/apr2000/2000L-04-05-04.html

It just stopped doing anything, I wondered if the computer was hung, then I
noticed I could use the mouse and keyboard, I typed F3 and entered URL
http://iwin.nws.noaa.gov/iwin/textversion/main.html
then instead of getting the weather main text-version page, I got the
environment news page with load time 14:37 (I am not sure about the last digit).
After that, I resumed with the other April 5 environment news items.
