CMIIW, but only dozeware considers cache space as "virtual memory."

Caching to the main drive [C:\] or to the drive/directory you are
working in is self-defeating and can be destructive.

If you don't know how the files CONFIG.SYS and AUTOEXEC.BAT work, don't
mess around with them!  "Remarking out" [using ":" or REM] makes that
line non-functional so your system won't boot up correctly.  You could
even screw things up enough to where you no longer *can* boot to the
HDD!

Even if you feel you are competent to mess around with CONFIG.SYS &
AUTOEXEC.BAT, don't ever do it until you have copied the working files
to backup files, so if you screw up you can restore your system to where
it was before.
