Perhaps I'm way off here, but it sounds to me like your monitor isn't set
to use it's full size. There's nothing you can do about this in Arachne,
except you might find a screen resolution hitting "+" and "-" that your
monitor is configured for. But you should set it up (older monitor has
knobs for this somewhere on the monitor - sometimes on the back (mine had),
newer has OSD with it).
Of course if this wasn't what you meant then please ignore ;-)
