Hate to be a pain, repeating issues which have already been
answered on this list, but I cannot get the CC instructions
to work.
Not sure if this, also, is because I am using Arachne
version 1.47b or if it is because I simply cannot follow
instructions properly.
I thought some of your previous posts indicated that placing
an ASCII text file in the CC line, would send the same
e-mail to all e-mail addresses in the ASCII text file,
so long as each address was on a separate line, with each
line terminated with a Carriage Return and Linefeed.
Tried this, with the ASCII file CC_TEST being found
in my main Arachne directory ..... no success. The
CC_TEST file looks like this:
[EMAIL PROTECTED]
[EMAIL PROTECTED]
[EMAIL PROTECTED]
Normally, if I send e-mail to any of the above address
directly, I at least get a return message that mail could
not be delivered, as no such address was found.
But when this file is named in the CC line of the Arachne
composer ..... nothing results.
Any ideas ??? Hope you don't tell me this also does not work
in version 1.47b of Arachne, and I am being forced to upgrade
to the 1.50 version you referred to earlier in our discussion
of 1.47b not being able to delete mail from the Index page.
PS. Also curious to know where you are in Ontario, since your
signature/address seems to indicate you are in this province
somewhere.
