Dear Experts,
Please can anyone else confirm whether they have this problem. I've
just installed V1.70 Rev 3. I get a problem with the new dialler page
(PPPFRAME.HTM) - the one with the 'light bulb' banner across the bottom
of the screen. When that page is on the screen, I save the current
settings configuration by clicking on the PROFILES link to the left of
the profile name at the top of the box. That causes the profile manager
screen to appear and I type in my profile name and click on 'save
profile'. When the dialler page returns, there are now two 'light bulb'
banners (frames?) across the bottom of the screen and the dialler box
extends the whole width of the screen. Trying to save to a profile a
second time causes the screen to become totally muddled and the
clickable buttons no longer matrch up with where the mouse cursor thinks
they are.
My settings are 640 x 480 hi-colour, frames on, images on, small ikon
layout. If I change the line starting 'DialPage' in ARACHNE.CFG to read
'DialPage file:ppp_init.htm', then I just get the 'original' dialler
page without light bulbs and profile saving works well.
Is this a bug in the HTML of PPPFRAME.HTM or is it a bug in the
page rendering department? Any help would be very greatly appreciated.
I got this effect for the short while that I used V1.69 and reported it
back then. I also reported it to '[EMAIL PROTECTED]' but I assume that
they weren't interested, since the bug is still here in V1.70.
