I'll bite, though I am no guru. It looks like you have an Adaptec
AHA-152x. This is OK according to:
http://www.linuxdoc.org/HOWTO/Hardware-HOWTO-9.html
You could also check the hardare compatibility lists at Redhat,
Mandrake, Debian, etc...depending on which distribution you have.
Sometimes, there is a problem installing on a SCSI drive. The
install programs are usually looking for an IDE disk with Windoze
on it. You might have to specify that you have a SCSI disk.
What is the rest of the system, and which distribution?
