ZBMs are simply .ZIP files which contain a single .BMP
By adding the mime-type "image/x-zbitmap zbm" to
your /etc/mime.types file.... we can automatically unzip
the downloaded .ZBM into its original .BMP file so that
this .BMP can be viewed.

For an examp[le of the HUGE bandwidth savings...

I also have several other .ZBM files here......

Thank you for your consideration,

Glenn, you will be pleased to know that arachne.cz now supports .ZBM as
a standard mime type. This now makes at least two servers in the known
world.

As you regularly put up .ZBMs and frighten the users away with the above
change to MIME.cfg, <G> I can now provide you, and any others interested,
with the following information and suggestion to pass on to your ISP.

Ask them to please add the following line to their Linux file
/etc/mime.types

image/x-zbitmap zbm

I hope we can get a few more converts. ;-)
