To my knowledge there are no such virrii... but if the execution or
opening is automatic harm can be done.
Mailers often open images and text-files automaticaly.
Abt 3 weeks ago I mentioned a .gif image that was not an image but a
disguised .EXE.
Arachne corectly diagnosed the situation and did not show the image...
she stored the .EXE into the cache and mentioned the .EXE as an
attachment on the monitor. (The .EXE did not run under DOS anyway)
But with M$ this thing becomes more tricky... the .GIF is opened
automatic as well... and the .exe is probably opened automaticaly
without detection of the .EXE. The virus was build to do harm to M$
windoze and so it will!
Of course there are more tricks...
An .EXE build into a HTML-attachment with a nice button: PRESS THIS
BUTTON...
(Reason number ?? , why HTML-attachments are evil.. Hi, Hi)
