I've managed to connect to the internet... went quite smoothly.
I have the feeling that parts of Qube were ported from X-Windows.
Check out the debug info - lots of references to known X programs.
The demo is very raw. No applications in it, probebly because non
exist yet. But the basics that come with it work very well.
These are: File browser, ASCII viewer/editor, PPP dialer, and an
SMTP mail composer and sender.
NOTE: When sending the letter, the window of the letter will NOT
close after send! Dont be confuse and click on the "Send" again,
or you'll just end up sending copies of the same letter over and
over again...
Also, i've just noticed that I cant minimize the windows! :)
So far so good. Qube looks extremly promising. I'll be sure to check
the new versions. Btw, i'm sending this from the Qube text-pad. It
can both function as an Edit/Notepad program, and it can also send
the text right trough E-Mail as well as save it. Nifty.
Lets just hope that this letter will end up where its seposed to.
