After extracting the attachement from the digest and decoding it, naming it
"virus_decodat", (too much work for a virused file :-)) this is what I've got:

[cburneci@rally inbox]$ f-prot virus_decodat
Virus scanning report - 4. September 2001 21:39

F-PROT 3.10a
SIGN.DEF created 7. August 2001
SIGN2.DEF created 7. August 2001
MACRO.DEF created 7. August 2001

Search: virus_decodat
Action: Report only
Files: Attempt to identify files
Switches: <none>

/home/cburneci/Mail/inbox/virus_decodat Infection: W95/Badtrans.A@mm

Results of virus scanning:

Files: 1
MBRs: 0
Boot sectors: 0
Objects scanned: 1
Infected: 1
Suspicious: 0
Disinfected: 0
Deleted: 0
Renamed: 0

Time: 0:00

IMPORTANT! In the future try and do not send any more viruses explicitly
attached. This is a the equivalent of a crime ... even supposing that many of
the people on this list do not use Win9x on a regular basis.
