  You mean the machines on people's desktops rather
than the servers I take it.  There's probably no way
we'll ever find out.  As far as what's publicly 
available, web servers are often a good indication
of which way a corporation's IT department is 
inclined.

  OS's running the web servers for the companies you 
mentioned look like this:

Ford - Win 2000
Alcan - Win'98/NT4
Coca-Cola - Linux
