I downloaded the latest version; just weeks old.  
If you plan on installing it, don't believe the 
instructions on the web page, but rather read the
README.TXT and similar within the package.  The
current instructions on the download page are useless.

  I couldn't install the *.rpm because of missing
dependencies, so I got the source and compiled it.
For this package, that means these commands:
./autogen.sh
./configure 
make 
make install

  It's come a long way since I last played with it,
and it loads in less than 5 seconds on my machine (less 
than 1 sec if it's still cached) as opposed to more 
than 45 seconds for Star Office (which is too large
to be cached in my 64MB).

  Anyway, here's a screenshot of the latest version,

(note: LaTeX files are easily converted to .pdf for
those who wish to go that route ;-)

  The font rendering still leaves a bit to be desired, 
but it prints out on the printer a whole lot better than
the onscreen font quality.
