OK I know it might > not be basic simple to implement, but there you go. Mel, A button for "get mail" would be nice, I suppose. But how about the user defined hotkeys to customize the "get mail" function? Easy to do. Just go to the options page and click on personal settings. Scroll down to the botttom and pick one of the function keys. Just enter your name and mailbox location, like this: pop3:[EMAIL PROTECTED] (use whatever the name of your mailserver) Don't forget to click on "save". Ok, now if you have Arachne setup to dial automatically when you request something from the net, all you have to do is hit your chosen "hotkey" and it will dial, login, download your mail and take you to the new mail index. No script, no mousing around, no problem. The user defined hotkeys can be set up to retrieve any file on your system or go to any location on the net. Use it to set up multiple hotlists for specific purposes. You can also have a hotkey take you direct to your outbox. I try to make a habit of reviewing my mail before I send it out--so I think "get" and "send" need to be different functions. But I think you could have a hotkey set up to "send" as well.
