When I was a child I was a Navy brat. I used to always see Santa
arrive by helicopter at a US Naval Air Station. All of us children
were much more interested in seeing the helicopter than in seeing
Santa. Santa was already very old to us and helicopters were very
new at the time. I'll bet most of you didn't know that Santa can
pilot a helicopter just as well as he can drive a sleigh with eight
flying reindeer! I know he can quite skillfully steer and navigate
everything that can be driven o'er land, sea, and sky!

There are rumors that Santa has often been recommended for receiving
the Distinguished Flying Cross. The problem with honoring him with
such an award is that his missions are always highly classified and
they don't want to compromise Santa's sources on the subject of who
has been naughty and nice.
