As I stated in my last message.

And as Eric has now confirmed.

The correct size of the file is 1,039,025 bytes.

That's why I put the `exact' size on the download page.
(not just an approximation of the size)

This lets you know that if the file you got is less than that size.
The download is incomplete and you must do it again.

There... I found the problem.

I just did the D/L using Lynx.

It downloaded and saved the file as ara171ue.exe.gz (1,21,462 bytes)

This means that to make it usable I will now need to Gunzip
it to ara171ue.exe

BRB
___

--a--- 1,039,025 11-29-02 6:23p c:\1recv\ara171ue.exe
(this the one I just D/Led with Arachne v1.71

--a--- 1,021,462 11-29-02 6:41p c:\1recv\lynx\ara171ue.gz
(and this is the one I just D/Led with lynx)

method crc date time compressed uncompr. ratio uncompressed_name
defla e0254538 Nov 29 18:41 1021462 1039025 1.6% ara171ue
(the listing of the contents of the .GZ)

--a--- 1,039,025 11-29-02 6:41p c:\1recv\lynx\ara171ue.exe
(and finally after running
`gzip -d ara171ue.gz' and then renameing ara171ue.no_ext to ara171ue.exe)

There... now it's usable.

IMNSHO,

Lynx is doing it all wrong. :((((
