Bastiaan, I don't think there is. When we think about this, we need to remember that we are (theoretically) speaking only about Arachne talking to DOS and DOS trying to do something, then talking back to Arachne. DOS normally has NO functions to keep logfiles, etc. And, if we want such a thing, we load some TSR (such as PRN2FILE) and make provisions for our own "logfile"..... This should mean that Arachne would encounter NO problems on DOS...but...if what I suspect may be true....then W9x is writing erroneous information to one of the interior "tables of tables" structure that misleads DOS into telling Arachne a device is there, which Arachne then tells DOS to go find.....which breaks down, here, because DOS can now not find what it originally told Arahne was there......hmmmmm....well..hope I have thoroughly confused you.....<g g g g g> ....gregy -- This mail was sent by a user of Arachne - The Ultimate Internet Client
