Hi Ron,

The following may or may not be related to your
problem.

The reason I am subscribed to the arachne-digest
from my Yahoo! mail account, and not my mail
account at my ISP, is that some arachne digests
contain a letter "y" with an umlaut above it at
the end of some inline mime attachments, and my
ISP's mail server sees the "Y with umlaut" as
some kind of end-of-file character and truncates
the digest right after that character.  Try
sending a message to that person that contains a
"y with umlaut" on a line by itself in the middle
of the message and see if it arrives intact.
