Hi Bart, > With this script, the cluster is starting fine. > No errors or warnings and Coordinator and DBServers are visible in the web > interface. >
We’re fine if you have no warnings and no errors. In that case I don’t really need the output. So don’t worry about the logs. > So I did a new test: > - cleaned up all my databases again > - started 3 agents, 2 dbservers and 1 coordinator, but this time with > different names and different ports > > Result: no warnings or errors anymore on the console. > However, the web interface still shows 0 Coordinators and 0 DBServers and the > Nodes tab is also still empty This is easily explained. If you look inside the the script you will appreciate the startup parameters in the agency regarding the supervision in the agency, which serves as a sanity checking and in context of a cluster management system like mesosphere, cluster resizing, shard moving, failover etc facility for a running cluster. This facility populates the information behind this page. If it is not running (default), this page remains empty. There will be a fix for this bug in 3.0.1. Bart, again, we greatly appreciate the time you invested. We don’t take this kind of involvement for granted.
