used the installation .exe ran through the install. there was a warning about my path being to long and that it did not edit it. the server starts just fine, the website comes up just fine but i am not able to log in as root with the password established during install in both the web site and shell. have reinstalled several times now same result. have rebooted and tried again, installed without other applications running.
