Or "welcome to 'rm -rf' land." Because of the navigation-bar fiasco (lack of scaling designed into the opensolaris.org site), we've lost all of our open access documentation.
This includes the basic ARC documentation (the handbook and such) as well case logs. I can't do much about the basic ARC documentation -- I believe that may just be gone -- but for the _active_ open cases, I've set up a simple script that copies the materials (PSARC and LSARC) here: http://cr.opensolaris.org/~carlsonj/caselog/ Before you shoot the messenger: I know it's incomplete. I know it doesn't have the older cases that you might need for reviews. I know it doesn't have indexing or other references. If you do have complaints, I suggest forwarding them to website-discuss. You need to know that supporting this cruft isn't actually anywhere in my job description, and that this is the best *I* can manage for the time being. I hope that there's a replacement in the future. It'd be super cool if that replacement also restored our non-case-related documentation, but I honestly don't know what's going on with this. (I was told that there would be "no negotiation" for restoring even partial access to things we need. It's down, and, at least for now, that's just that.) -- James Carlson, Solaris Networking <james.d.carlson at sun.com> Sun Microsystems / 35 Network Drive 71.232W Vox +1 781 442 2084 MS UBUR02-212 / Burlington MA 01803-2757 42.496N Fax +1 781 442 1677
