Adding:
export LDFLAGS=${LDFLAGS//-Wl,--as-needed}
to the PKGBUILD does not help so this is not an --as-needed problem.
Redland: needs gtk-doc makedepends Seahorse: needs patches, check the gnome-unstable packages for this, they're in svn.
