With the caching done by the Fastly CDN, the bandwidth speeds and time to first byte should be quite good all around the globe, especially as more and more people start using the service. Thanks a lot to Fastly for sponsoring us with free access to their services! This new mirror can be seen as an orthogonal approach to the already existing, also DevOps administered geomirrors, which will not be replaced by the CDN based mirror.
