Really? Who? > nor did everyone test the functionality (there could be > cases where -j4 runs fine, but -j8 crashes, or other weird race conditions). You are suggesting not changing to a sane default because some packages (especially in the AUR) have crappy maintainers. That's hardly a reason for anything.
