I've finally gotten around to installing and configuring bumblebee. It's working, sort of. It's rather weird because it only works every other time:

The next run of `primusrun` fails, usually with the message ~~~~ % primusrun glxspheres64 primus: fatal: Bumblebee daemon reported: error: [XORG] (EE) Server terminated successfully (0). Closing log file. ~~~~ the next run works. And so on. Very strange behaviour I think.
