Hi Friedrich, If you look at /bin/libreoffice you'll see it's a shell script and provides options like `--strace' and `--backtrace' that may give better diagnostics that what you have so far.
It looks like the problem happens in an area to do with user profiles. Have you tried starting it as an entirely new user that has never run it before? -- Cheers, Ralph.
