If I switch to tty2 by Ctrl+Alt+F2 and do not log in, then I can switch
back to the graphical X session by Ctrl+Alt+F7.

If I log in as root or as user I neither can switch back directly, nor
can I do so after executing exit. If I press Ctrl+Alt+F7 it happens
absolutely nothing. It just stays in tty2.

I can't see anything important by the log files. At the moment the issue
doesn't happen, Ctrl+Alt+F7 does work as expected. It seems to happen
randomly after a reboot. If it's okay after a reboot, then it seems to
stay that way.
