Also make sure your shell configs are set up right and try to ssh in as root if it doesnt have that disabled. If root works its a shell problem.

Hello all,

I have a headless box running Arch as a Print and File server (Cups, NFS). Up until a few days ago everything was working fine. The only way I can get into this box is through ssh. Now when I try to ssh to the box it accepts the connection, prompts for passphrase, successfully authenticates me, prints the 'welcome' banner, then nothing. No shell prompt, just nothing. I can type commands but they aren't having an effect. I have to manually close the konsole, because ctrl-c doesn't work.

Did you recently upgrade from 2.4 to 2.6 and forget to add the devpts line into fstab?
