There is, or was, a tcl-tk project to remove the
ndiswrapper dependancy on Perl over at Puppy Linux to
remove the ndiswrapper dependancy on Perl. They use tk
scripts rather than perl. I do not know what its
status is, but it looked like a good idea to me.
